About the role#
The Wyoming Pathways from Prison (WPfP) program at the University of Wyoming is looking for an intern to assist with program operations. You will work directly with the program director and staff to help the program grow and develop.
What you'll do#
- Manage social media accounts and publicity efforts.
- Coordinate the ordering and distribution of course materials.
- Handle instructional logistics.
- Serve as a liaison with program partners.
- Take on additional tasks that match your skills and the needs of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at the University of Wyoming.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Comfort and willingness to work with incarcerated students.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using technology in instructional settings.
- Prior experience with social media management is preferred.
- Familiarity with different college instructional methods is a plus.
Location & details#
This is a paid, full-time position based in Laramie, Wyoming. The role offers flexible and remote work options, with an expectation that 50% of the work is performed on campus.
