About the role#
The University Annual Giving & Stewardship team is hiring a Student Project Associate for the 2025-2026 academic year. This position supports the Direct Marketing team with data entry, donor tracking, and campaign organization. It is a paid role for Federal Work Study eligible students.
What you'll do#
- Enter vendor expenses from invoice tracking sheets into the CRM system.
- Create CRM mass updates to attribute appeal outreach across email, text, and print channels.
- Record inbound donor inquiries and track giving details, IDs, and request routing.
- Upload marketing proofs to the Advancement Community Marketing calendar.
- Maintain inventory for premium campaign items.
- Assist the Direct Marketing team with additional tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at the University of Virginia.
- Federal Work Study eligibility.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
- Professional communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn CRM systems.
Location & details#
This role is hybrid and primarily remote, though you will occasionally need to work from the office at Old Ivy Hall in Charlottesville. You will work between 10 and 20 hours per week.
