About the role#
The Global Networks and Programs team connects alumni, parents, and volunteers with the University of Virginia through various initiatives. We are looking for a detail-oriented student to join us for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a hands-on position for someone interested in administrative and operational experience within a higher education setting.
What you'll do#
- Manage data entry, report generation, and data analysis using the Salesforce CRM.
- Assist with the onboarding, engagement, and stewardship of volunteers, including handling inquiries and preparing materials.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of volunteer events held virtually or on Grounds.
- Create executive summaries using Canva to track program progress.
- Design surveys in Qualtrics or Microsoft Forms and draft related communications for constituents.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current UVA student eligible for federal work-study.
- Some prior experience in administrative support.
- Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- An interest in constituent communication, data management, or reporting.
- Majors in Business Administration, Communications, or Data Science are preferred.

- This is a hybrid position based in Charlottesville, Virginia, with a mix of remote and in-office work.
- The internship covers the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms.
- This is a paid, part-time position.
