About the role#
The Leadership and Student Organizations Coordinator manages the administrative and programmatic portfolio for the Office of Leadership and Student Organization. You will join the Involvement Team within the Student Life and Engagement department and report to the Assistant Director of Student Involvement. This role focuses on supporting student organizations, fostering leadership development, and serving as a primary representative for the office to the campus and local community.
What you'll do#
- Manage the administrative and programmatic portfolio for student organizations.
- Develop and implement support programs for student organizations and their leaders.
- Plan and host leadership development activities and events.
- Coordinate fiscal and business processes, including purchasing operations for student organizations.
- Serve as the manager for the student engagement platform on the Saint Petersburg campus.
- Hire, train, and supervise office personnel.
- Manage office budgets, equipment, and supplies.
- Collaborate with Student Government on fiscal training programs.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree and at least one year of related experience.
- A Master's degree in Higher Education or College Student Personnel is preferred.
- Alternatively, two years of experience working in higher education is preferred.
- Ability to pass a Level 1 or Level 2 background check.
