About the role#
The BNY Summer Internship Program is a 10-week experience for students interested in Engineering and Production Services. You will work within our global team to maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot applications in a large-scale financial environment. This role focuses on ensuring platform stability, operational efficiency, and the application of new technology to support our global business.
What you'll do#
- Support the maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications and technology platforms.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and execute work, resolve issues, and support both short-term fixes and long-term improvements.
- Use AI and other toolsets to monitor production health, analyze performance data, and identify process improvements.
- Document procedures, configurations, and support activities to build your knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Finance, Cybersecurity, Operations Management, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- A keen interest in problem-solving and tackling new technology challenges.
- Knowledge and usage of AI tools.
- Ability to work as part of a global, cross-functional team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration and communication.
- A keen interest in industry best practices and emerging trends.
- You must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.
