About the role#
The Office of the COO at BNY focuses on operational excellence, business management, and governance. This internship provides exposure to how a global financial services organization functions at scale. You will work on initiatives that help teams across the firm deliver efficient outcomes and support the broader goals of the Platform Operating Model.
What you'll do#
- Support day-to-day activities and strategic initiatives within the Chief Operating Office.
- Conduct research and analysis on operational processes, performance metrics, and business priorities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Assist with the documentation of business procedures, workflows, and governance materials.
- Research AI use cases and document opportunities where adoption could improve processes or decision-making.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Operations Management.
- Expected graduation date in December 2027 or May 2028.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- No requirement for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
