About the role#
As an intern in the Office of the CFO, you will gain experience in the strategic financial operations that support BNY. You will work within teams responsible for the firm's financial integrity, sustainable growth, and operational excellence. This role involves contributing to initiatives that impact revenue generation, cost management, and strategic planning. You will work across different lines of business or corporate functions to understand how a large financial institution operates at scale.
What you'll do#
- Support teams that help maintain BNY's financial integrity.
- Assist with financial planning and analysis, reporting, balance sheet analysis, capital management, and strategic planning.
- Conduct data analysis and interpret financial information to provide insights into business performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate across lines of business and corporate functions on projects that support decision-making, process improvement, and the use of financial technologies.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program.
- Preferred majors include Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Economics.
- Graduation date in December 2027 or May 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
- No employment visa sponsorship needed.

- This is a full-time, paid internship.
