About the role#
The College of Behavioral and Community Sciences Dean’s Office is hiring a Federal Work-Study Student Assistant. This role provides administrative and operational support in a professional office environment. You will assist faculty, staff, and visitors while contributing to projects across multiple departments.
What you'll do#
- Sort and distribute mail, receive and deliver packages, and maintain office equipment and supplies.
- Keep shared workspaces, supply areas, and common spaces clean and organized.
- Assist with routine office upkeep, including document shredding and recycling.
- Help with various projects such as preparing correspondence, organizing digital files, and managing technology inventory.
- Run campus errands, including operating a golf cart when necessary.
What you'll need#
- You must have been awarded Federal Work Study for the 2026 to 2027 school year.
- Strong organizational abilities and basic computer skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate professionally.
- Reliability and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work both independently and as part of a team.
