About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide patient care and maintain a safe retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering quality care while managing pharmacy operations and supporting the pharmacy team.
What you'll do#
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Foster a team culture centered on caring, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and workflow processes, excluding final prescription verification.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to improve health outcomes.
- Ensure a safe and effective work environment while meeting regulatory requirements.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching, and maintaining mobility for extended periods.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including availability for nights and weekends.

- Compensation: $20.50 - $24.25 per hour.
