About the role#
The College of Health and Human Services at Sacramento State is hiring a student assistant to provide administrative support. This is a part-time, temporary position open to current Sac State students only. You will work in a hybrid environment and assist with office tasks and community health events.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and data entry support.
- Help with community-based CHHS Health Hive events and health screenings in the Sacramento region.
- Manage booth set up and take down at community events, which may occur on weekends.
- Manage your time and prioritize tasks effectively.
What you'll need#
- Previous administrative or office experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and confidentiality.
Location & details#
- Location: Sacramento, California. You must reside and perform all work within California.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Schedule: Flexible hours between 8 AM and 6 PM, Monday through Friday. You may work up to 20 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours during breaks.
- Majors: Public Health, Health Administration, or Business Administration.
