About the role#
The Personal Lines State Management Analytics group at The Hanover Insurance Group is looking for an intern to join our team for the summer of 2027. This 10-week program offers you the chance to work on business assignments while applying your academic knowledge to real projects. You will work alongside our team to support business growth and help us articulate value to our customers and partners.
What you'll do#
- Support the Personal Line State Management Analytics group with day-to-day operations.
- Collect, analyze, and report data to meet specific customer needs.
- Develop reports and data tools for field teams and customers.
- Provide accurate analytical support and ensure all results are validated.
- Communicate your findings clearly to internal partners through both writing and verbal presentations.
- Create and deliver a final presentation for management and leadership at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelors or advanced degree program, with a preference for majors in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, or Marketing.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Experience with PowerBI or Tableau.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to commit to a full-time 10-week internship.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
