About the role#
The Healthcare Price and Transparency Data Analyst Intern supports initiatives related to pricing and transparency reporting. You will help ensure compliance with federal and association mandates while contributing to the delivery of accurate cost data for medical procedures and treatments. This role involves assisting with analytics for reimbursement, payment integrity, and medical coding.
What you'll do#
- Validate healthcare pricing data and prepare transparency reports.
- Support analytics and reporting for reimbursement and provider services.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Contribute to process improvement evaluations and documentation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor degree in Health Administration, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, with 3.0 preferred.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel.
- Experience using SQL and either Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
