About the role#
Louisiana Blue is hiring a Compliance Intern to join our team in Baton Rouge. This is a part-time, paid position with a rolling term. You will support our compliance department by assisting with audits, reviewing policies, and helping with departmental projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with assigned portions of audit programs to determine compliance with laws, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare reports of findings and assist with compliance reviews.
- Collaborate with compliance consultants and program managers on ongoing projects.
- Work directly with the Director on potential departmental enhancements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Business, Management, Finance, Law, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Completion of at least 60 undergraduate credit hours.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, though a 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, plus advanced Excel skills.
- The ability to comprehend, document, calculate, and analyze data.
- Preference is given to second-year law students and those who have completed coursework in Internal Audit.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. You must be able to commute to our office daily.
- This is a part-time internship.
