About the role#
The Value Based Operations Analyst Intern will support the administration and analysis of value-based healthcare programs. You will gain hands-on experience with alternative reimbursement, payment and billing methodologies, and process improvement. Working alongside analysts and business partners, you will contribute to operational projects that support business decisions and improve care programs.
What you'll do#
- Monitor program performance.
- Assist with payment and billing reconciliation.
- Prepare reports.
- Support operational projects to improve value-based care programs.
What you'll need#
- Senior undergraduate, recent graduate, or graduate student in statistics, accounting, finance, math, business administration, health administration, or computer science.
- Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA (3.5+ GPA preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Basic working knowledge of SQL.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to think analytically and present ideas professionally.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and adaptable.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
- Experience with databases like MySQL, SQLServer, or Teradata is a plus.
- Experience with data visualization software such as PowerBI or Tableau is a plus.
