About the role#
Arizona Christian University is hiring a student worker to assist the athletics department with home games. You will report to the Assistant Director of Game Operations and help maintain a positive experience for fans, staff, and students at the ACU campus and the Firestorm Recreation Center. This is a part-time, paid position requiring between 5 and 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Set up and tear down equipment for home athletic events.
- Manage gameday tasks including ticket scanning, ball running, and operating the scoreboard.
- Keep playing areas and surfaces clean.
- Coordinate and communicate with other departments as needed.
- Support the university mission through mentorship and discipleship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an ACU student in good standing.
- A completed FAFSA for consideration.
- An active Christian faith and commitment to the university faith statement.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of sports is preferred.
