About the role#
This internship offers professional experience on the Tulane campus. You will work alongside the Nutrition Manager, a Registered Dietitian, to support health and wellness initiatives for Tulane Hospitality. This role is paid and requires 10 to 20 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Nutrition Manager in planning and running campus health and wellness programs.
- Produce marketing materials such as flyers, educational content, handouts, videos, and social media posts.
- Organize and host events including cooking classes, tabling sessions, and other promotional activities.
- Provide peer-to-peer nutrition education to fellow students.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Nutrition Manager.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Tulane University.
- Knowledge of nutrition topics and the ability to present evidence-based information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools like Canva or Adobe is preferred.
- Pursuing a degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Kinesiology, Biology, or Communications.
