About the role#
The IT Student Worker provides technical support to the Arizona Christian University campus. This position involves direct interaction with students, faculty, and staff to maintain classroom technology and resolve account issues. You will receive on-the-job training in hardware repairs and enterprise IT systems. This role also requires a commitment to the university mission, including mentorship, discipleship, and a biblical worldview perspective.
What you'll do#
- Troubleshoot technology issues for students, faculty, and staff.
- Prepare classroom equipment like projectors, computers, and audio systems for events.
- Assist users with connecting personal devices to the campus Wi-Fi.
- Verify user identities and handle secure password resets.
- Manage account inquiries, including new setups and login troubleshooting.
- Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Must be a full-time ACU student in good academic, financial, and conduct standing.
- Must complete a FAFSA.
- Ability to work with deadlines and handle tasks with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and punctuality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google documents.
- Commitment to the university faith statement and mission, including an active Christian faith.
