About the role#
Arizona Christian University is hiring a Student Worker for Event Technology. You will work under the supervision of the Event Technology Manager to provide audiovisual support for university events. This role requires a commitment to the mission and vision of the university and involves supporting students, faculty, and staff from a biblical worldview perspective.
What you'll do#
- Set up, operate, and strike equipment for assigned events.
- Clean, organize, and maintain all audiovisual gear.
- Collaborate with various university departments, including Athletics, Enrollment, and Student Development.
- Support the campus community through mentorship and discipleship.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current student at Arizona Christian University in good standing.
- Completion of FAFSA is required.
- Knowledge of audio systems, video systems, and general production technology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google workspace.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Majors in Communications or Media Studies are preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Glendale, Arizona.
- This is a paid, on-site position.
- The role is part-time with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Hiring is conducted on a rolling basis.
