About the role#
Canvas is looking for a Marketing, Communications, and Graphic Design Intern to help with content development, digital marketing, and corporate communications. You will gain hands-on experience creating materials that support our brand and engage our employees, customers, and prospective talent.
What you'll do#
- Create graphics for social media, recruiting, events, and internal communications.
- Design and update flyers, brochures, capability sheets, presentations, and signage.
- Assist with social media content, website updates, and the weekly employee newsletter.
- Draft, edit, and proofread short-form communications.
- Maintain brand consistency while organizing marketing assets and templates.
- Support photography, video, trade shows, and recruiting events.
- Monitor social media engagement and assist with content recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint.
- Strong design, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate with others, and take initiative.
- A portfolio or work samples demonstrating graphic design, marketing, or communications experience is preferred.
- Photography, video editing, or website experience is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship based on-site in Huntsville, Alabama.
- The position follows a rolling term.
