About the role#
This is a paid, full-time winter internship for the 2027 season. You will work on-site at one of our New York offices. The role offers exposure to a diverse client base across various industries, allowing you to build technical tax skills while working alongside experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
- Use tax software to input data and calculate liabilities, deductions, and credits.
- Research tax laws, regulations, and guidelines to ensure accurate application.
- Analyze financial statements and documentation to find tax-saving opportunities and compliance issues.
- Communicate with clients to collect information and answer tax-related questions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to share insights and support senior members on complex projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Between 0 and 1 year of relevant experience.

- Locations: Albany, Hudson, Queensbury, Kingston, or Newburgh, New York.
- Compensation: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour.
