About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in audit and assurance. You will work alongside professionals to contribute to the accuracy of financial reporting for a variety of clients. This is a temporary, full-time position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with audit teams to perform tasks related to financial information.
- Assist in conducting audit procedures, including substantive and control testing.
- Support the maintenance of audit files and documentation to ensure they remain organized and compliant.
- Prepare workpapers and audit reports.
- Participate in basic analytical procedures to identify trends and potential issues.
- Engage in training sessions to learn audit software and concepts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- 0 to 1 year of relevant experience.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work in a professional office environment, including sitting at a desk for long periods and lifting up to 15 pounds.
