About the role#
As a Technology Risk and Compliance (TRC) Intern, you will assist clients in understanding and mitigating technology and cybersecurity risks. You will work with various IT risk and control frameworks, including SOC 1, SOC 2, PCI, ISO, HIPAA, FFIEC, NIST, and CIS Security. This is a temporary, full-time position occurring during the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with IT Audit Managers and clients to understand IT systems, infrastructure, and control environments.
- Assess IT risks and develop reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls.
- Document procedures, test results, and conclusions.
- Track time and maintain designated chargeable hours.
What you'll need#
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Business Administration, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a similar field.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- 0 to 1 year of relevant experience.
- Experience with IT systems.

- Travel: Occasional travel is required for team meetings and client engagements.
- Physical requirements: Ability to sit at a desk for prolonged periods and lift up to 15 pounds.
