About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will gain practical experience in the field of audit and assurance. You will work alongside experienced professionals on real-world audit engagements, contributing to the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting for our clients.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with audit teams on data entry, documentation preparation, and basic analysis of financial information.
- Assist with audit procedures, including substantive and control testing.
- Prepare workpapers and audit reports while maintaining organized audit files.
- Compile financial data and transactions to support audit analysis.
- Participate in basic analytical procedures to identify trends or anomalies.
- Use audit software to input data and extract reports.
- Engage in training sessions and learning opportunities to expand your audit skills.
- Communicate project updates to team members and report discrepancies to senior auditors.
- Uphold the firm ethical standards and values.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Between 0 and 1 year of relevant experience.
- Ability to sit at a desk for long periods and lift up to 15 pounds.
