About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will gain practical experience in audit and assurance. You will work alongside experienced professionals to contribute to the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting for a diverse range of clients. This is a temporary, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with audit teams on data entry and documentation preparation.
- Assist with audit procedures, including substantive and control testing.
- Maintain audit files to ensure they remain organized, accurate, and compliant.
- Prepare workpapers and audit reports.
- Perform basic analytical procedures to identify trends and anomalies.
- Compile financial data and transactions for audit analysis.
- Participate in training sessions to build your understanding of audit concepts and software.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate.
- Between 0 and 1 year of relevant experience.
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
