About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will gain practical experience in audit and assurance. You will work alongside experienced professionals on real-world audit engagements, contributing to the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting for our clients. This is a temporary, full-time position lasting less than six months.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with audit teams on data entry, documentation preparation, and financial analysis.
- Assist in audit procedures, including substantive and control testing.
- Support the maintenance of audit files and ensure they remain organized and compliant.
- Help prepare workpapers and audit reports.
- Participate in basic analytical procedures to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues.
- Use audit software to input data and extract reports.
- Engage in training sessions to build your understanding of audit concepts and tools.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in accounting or finance.
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate.
- 0 to 1 year of relevant experience.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Ability to sit at a desk for long periods and lift up to 15 pounds.

- This is a paid, on-site internship for Winter 2027.
- Available locations: Farmington Hills, MI; Sterling Heights, MI; and Ann Arbor, MI.
