About the role#
As a Tax Intern at UHY-US, you will gain hands-on experience preparing business and individual tax returns. You will work with a diverse client base across various industries while building your technical accounting skills. This is a temporary, full-time position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
- Conduct tax research to interpret and apply relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and answer tax-related inquiries.
- Ensure all filings are accurate and meet regulatory deadlines.
- Collaborate with firm professionals to share insights and best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited college or university in an accounting or finance degree program.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Progress toward CPA or Enrolled Agent licensure.
- Between 0 and 1 year of relevant experience.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate.
