About the role#
This is a year-round internship based in Springdale, Arkansas. You will work on-site to support our food scientists and technicians. We aim to convert high-performing interns into full-time team members after graduation. You must be able to work 40 hours per week during the summer and up to 25 hours per week during the school year.
What you'll do#
- Support food scientists and technicians with daily tasks.
- Complete a high volume of research and development projects.
- Handle data collection and entry, product evaluations, and hand samples.
- Assist with pilot plant and production trials.
- Follow verbal and written instructions to complete assigned projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or graduate student (Master’s or Doctorate) in good standing.
- Preferred majors include Agriculture, Business Administration, Nutrition, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Mathematics.
- At least one year of school remaining before graduation.
- Strong computer skills, specifically in Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Previous work experience is preferred, especially in research and development or food science.
- Ability to commute to the Springdale facility (within 60 miles).
