About the role#
The Cobb Summer 2026 Internship offers participants the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in poultry production and live operations. Interns will work across various production areas to understand the full process and gain exposure to essential support departments, including Safety and Quality Assurance. Successful performance during the internship may lead to opportunities for full-time employment with the Cobb team.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through various poultry production and live operations roles to learn the production process.
- Engage with operation support teams, specifically in Safety and Quality Assurance.
- Contribute to business success by developing innovative ideas and creating value within your assigned areas.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program with at least one semester of school remaining.
- Preferred fields of study include Agriculture, Poultry Operations, Environmental Engineering, Biology, or related agricultural disciplines.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
