About the role#
This internship offers a chance to gain hands-on experience in poultry production and live operations. You will work across different areas of the production process to understand how our facilities run. You will also gain exposure to support departments including Safety and Quality Assurance. We look for interns who can contribute new ideas and help create value for the team. High-performing interns may have the opportunity to join the Cobb team as full-time employees after the program.
What you'll do#
- Work in various poultry production and live operations roles.
- Learn the details of the production process from the ground up.
- Support operations by working with Safety and Quality Assurance teams.
- Contribute to team goals through independent projects and innovative ideas.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program with at least one semester remaining.
- A focus in Agriculture, Poultry Operations, Environmental Engineering, Biology, or related fields is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to manage your time, multitask, and solve problems effectively.
- A desire to learn from others while working both independently and in a team.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid summer 2026 internship.
- The role is based on-site in Springdale, Arkansas, or Pineville, Missouri.
- Priority is given to candidates currently local to the area.
- Sponsorship is not available for this position.
