About the role#
This is a paid internship and co-op opportunity based in Boston for the Fall 2026 term. You will work on-site to gain practical experience in construction management, project financial management, and safety protocols. The role involves supporting project teams across various departments, including preconstruction, estimating, and field operations.
What you'll do#
- Help the project team with meeting coordination, material tracking, and file management.
- Process shop drawings, submittals, and Requests for Information.
- Visit project sites to observe and document construction activities.
- Assist with preparing estimates for changes in work from subcontractors.
- Monitor contractor compliance with safety programs.
- Apply academic knowledge to real project scenarios.
- Communicate with architects, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors as directed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or Business Administration.
- Ability to work on-site at an active construction project or main office.
- Interest in construction management, business, or project financial management.
- Willingness to participate in training, meetings, and orientation.
