About the role#
This 10-week summer internship places you within the Tier 2 Support team at IAT Insurance Group. You will work with our cloud-based enterprise platform, which includes Duck Creek Policy, Billing, and Claims, as well as the Hyland OnBase document management system. You will gain experience in a corporate technology environment by working alongside our Application Support team to help solve business challenges and improve operations.
What you'll do#
- Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives within the Application Support organization.
- Observe and contribute to how teams collaborate to solve business challenges.
- Assist with documenting processes, tracking work, and supporting daily operational activities.
- Gain exposure to enterprise systems, project management, and IT service delivery practices.
- Support the team with additional assignments and special projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising undergraduate sophomore, junior, or senior.
- You are pursuing a major, minor, or concentration in a business or technical degree, such as Computer Science or Business Administration.
- You have the ability to quickly learn our internal systems.
- You possess strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You are comfortable working independently and solving problems.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office and Visio.
- You are authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Naperville, Illinois.
- Term: May 24, 2027, to July 30, 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid. You will work from the office Monday through Wednesday, with the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.
- Employment: This is a full-time, paid internship. You must be able to complete the full 10-week program. Please note that we do not provide housing or relocation assistance.
