About the role#
Venture Solar is looking for a Permitting Department Intern to join our team in Stamford. This role focuses on the construction and permitting process. You will help move projects forward by coordinating with local building departments and tracking permit applications. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Communicate with municipal building departments via phone and email to get permit updates.
- Monitor permit applications through various online municipal portals.
- Track permit statuses and keep accurate, organized records.
- Relay updates and next steps to internal team members.
- Handle administrative tasks related to project coordination.
What you'll need#
- Comfort making frequent outbound phone calls.
- Ability to learn new software systems and online portals quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
- Majors in Business Administration, Communications, or Operations Management are preferred.
