About the role#
Harper College is hiring a Student Aide to support the Office of Student Financial Assistance. This is a paid, part-time position located on-site in Palatine, Illinois. The role offers a flexible schedule based on your availability, with a maximum of 20 hours per week during regular office hours of Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.
What you'll do#
- Respond to student inquiries via email using Salesforce.
- Conduct high volume calling campaigns using a provided script.
- Manage data entry and analyze reports.
- Assist staff with various projects and campus events.
- Handle general office tasks like copying, filing, scanning, and document intake.
- Answer incoming phone calls from students.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Harper College with at least six credits per semester.
- Good academic standing.
- Strong communication and phone skills.
- Attention to detail and good organizational habits.
- Ability to meet deadlines, learn quickly, and be reliable.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.
