Student Aide - Peer Tutor - Health Careers

About the role#

Harper College is seeking a Student Aide to serve as a Peer Tutor for the Health Careers department. This position provides academic support to fellow nursing students while working under the supervision of the Nursing Lab Coordinator.

What you'll do#

• Assist fellow students with their nursing studies.
• Provide tutoring and academic support in nursing subjects.
• Help prepare nursing labs and instructional materials.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in the Harper Nursing Program.
• Successful completion of the first semester of the nursing program.
• A minimum GPA of 3.0.
• An average of 76% or higher on all exams.
• Maintenance of good academic standing.
• Satisfactory clinical performance with a faculty recommendation.

• Location: Palatine, Illinois.
• Term: Summer 2026.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Hours: Flexible, up to 20 hours per week, determined by your class schedule.
