About the role#
Harper College is seeking a Student Aide to serve as a Peer Tutor for the Health Careers department. This position provides academic support to fellow nursing students while working under the supervision of the Nursing Lab Coordinator.
What you'll do#
- Assist fellow students with their nursing studies.
- Provide tutoring and academic support in nursing subjects.
- Help prepare nursing labs and instructional materials.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the Harper Nursing Program.
- Successful completion of the first semester of the nursing program.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- An average of 76% or higher on all exams.
- Maintenance of good academic standing.
- Satisfactory clinical performance with a faculty recommendation.
Location & details#
- Location: Palatine, Illinois.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Hours: Flexible, up to 20 hours per week, determined by your class schedule.
