About the role#
Harper College is hiring a Student Aide to serve as a Peer Tutor for the Health Careers department. This is a paid, on-site position for the Summer 2026 term. You will work under the direct supervision of the Nursing Lab Coordinator.
What you'll do#
- Provide tutoring and academic support to fellow nursing students.
- Assist with the preparation of nursing labs and necessary materials.
- Work up to 20 hours per week, with a schedule determined by your own classes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the Harper Nursing Program.
- Completion of the first semester of the nursing program.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- An average of 76% or higher on all exams.
- Maintenance of good academic standing.
- Satisfactory clinical performance and a faculty recommendation.
