Student Aide - Fashion Design

About the role#

The Fashion Design Student Aide provides support to the Fashion program, assisting both faculty and students within lab and classroom environments. This role requires a professional, organized individual who can maintain facility standards and ensure lab policies are followed.

What you'll do#

• Assist with daily operations in the Fashion lab and classrooms.
• Monitor student activity to ensure compliance with established rules and expectations.
• Manage inventory and report supply needs to the FAS Lab Assistant.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the facility.
• Handle mail, correspondence, supply deliveries, and equipment maintenance.
• Receive daily instructions and report directly to the FAS Lab Assistant.

What you'll need#

• Must be a current Harper College student enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester (or 3 credits for the summer semester).
• Proficiency in computers and standard office software, including file and folder management.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds safely.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to complete tasks punctually.
• A professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with students.
