About the role#
Turner Construction Company is hiring an Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This role provides hands-on experience in construction management, project financials, and site operations. You will work under supervision at an active construction site or office to build foundational knowledge of the project lifecycle. This position is open to students pursuing degrees in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or Business Administration.
What you'll do#
- Support the project team with document control, file management, and progress reporting.
- Assist the Project Engineer, Superintendent, or Project Manager with project start-up and close-out tasks.
- Help collect and review information for shop drawings, submittals, and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Attend site visits to observe and document field activities.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and studies for project items.
- Coordinate meetings and track materials.
What you'll need#
- Ability to comprehend and follow site signage and supervisor instructions.
- Capacity to maintain professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, and staff.
- Willingness to participate in all required training and meetings.
- Commitment to safety protocols and the use of required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
