About the role#
Turner Construction Company is seeking interns for the Fall 2025 term. This is a paid, full-time, on-site opportunity based in Atlanta, Georgia. Interns will gain foundational knowledge in construction management, project financial management, safety protocols, and subcontractor relations while supporting active construction projects or office-based departments.
What you'll do#
- Assist in day-to-day supervised activities related to the development of a construction project.
- Support the project team with meeting coordination, material tracking, file management, document control, and progress reporting.
- Provide regular progress reports to your supervisor and actively participate in training, meetings, and orientation sessions.
- Apply academic knowledge to real-world work activities and maintain professional relationships with employees, clients, and subcontractors.
- Comply with all safety protocols and expectations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university degree program (or Co-op program) in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Completion of at least one year of undergraduate education.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to work on a construction project site.
- A strong desire to learn about the construction industry and pursue a career in construction management.
- Proficiency in English with clear verbal and written communication skills and the ability to comprehend written documentation.
