About the role#
Turner Construction Company is hiring for a Co-Op position in Albany, New York. This role runs from May or June through December 2027. You will work on-site for 40 hours per week. This is a paid position.
What you'll do#
You will support the project team with daily tasks including meeting coordination, file management, document control, and progress reporting. You will assist in collecting and reviewing information for shop drawings, submittals, and Requests for Information. Your work involves preparing estimates for changes in subcontractor work and monitoring contractor compliance with safety programs. You will also visit project sites to observe and document field activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration
- Ability to work full-time at 40 hours per week
- Capacity to apply academic knowledge to a professional project setting
- Professional communication skills
- Willingness to learn about construction management, safety protocols, and project coordination
