About the role#
SitelogIQ is hiring an Assistant Project Manager Intern for our West Division in Southern California for Summer 2027. This full-time, paid internship involves on-site work and travel to project sites. You will join our team to support the implementation of project scopes and assist with daily operations. We look for self-driven individuals who are comfortable working in the field and making decisions.
What you'll do#
- Support the project team with site visits, subcontractor coordination, and pre-construction walks.
- Assist in creating and maintaining project execution plans for preconstruction, construction, and closeout phases.
- Help manage project schedules by tracking activities, durations, and sequencing.
- Prepare monthly status reports and monitor project costs against the budget to identify exceptions.
- Review shop drawings and submittals for design conformance.
- Manage project documentation, including saving emails, photos, and files to the company server.
- Interact with clients to support project relationships and handle close-out requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field in construction management.
- Knowledge of construction technology and management practices.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and DOJ Live Scan.

- Compensation: $25 per hour plus mileage reimbursement for the use of a personal vehicle.
