About the role#
SitelogIQ offers a summer internship program for college students interested in the construction industry. This is a full-time, paid 8 to 12-week experience. You will work alongside our team to learn about roles in both the field and the office.
What you'll do#
You will shadow project managers, site superintendents, estimators, and our safety team. Your daily tasks include:
- Attend and participate in meetings, bidding, and scheduling.
- Learn construction methods, terminology, planning, and specifications.
- Use Procore and other construction software to assist with documentation.
- Manage the preparation and distribution of meeting minutes, daily logs, jobsite photos, and schedules.
- Perform jobsite inspections and punch list walk-throughs.
- Work with the preconstruction and estimating team to understand pricing and software processes.
- Learn safety principles with an emphasis on OSHA standards.
- Conduct job site safety inspections.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student in good standing.
- Pursuit of a degree in Civil, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Interest in a future career in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work productively and meet challenging goals.
- Ability to maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
Location & details#
This role is available for Summer 2027. It offers both remote and on-site work options. Positions are based in Minneapolis, MN, Indianapolis, IN, Des Moines, IA, and various locations across Michigan.
