About the role#
Trillium Trading is looking for an IT Support Intern to join our Systems and Support team for the Summer 2027 term. This position offers hands-on experience with enterprise systems and user support in our New York City office. You will work directly with our infrastructure operations and gain exposure to the technical environment that supports our trading floors.
What you'll do#
- Build, image, and configure Windows workstations using modern deployment tools.
- Assist with the physical setup and deployment of workstations, monitors, and peripherals.
- Provide Level 1 technical troubleshooting for both local and remote staff.
- Manage user onboarding and offboarding, which includes account provisioning and hardware preparation.
- Help with administrative tasks in Active Directory and Microsoft 365, including Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange.
- Maintain hardware inventory and keep IT procedure documentation up to date.
- Troubleshoot office equipment such as printers and A/V conferencing tools.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a Computer Science or related IT program.
- A strong interest in Systems Administration and Information Technology.
- Basic knowledge of PC components, computer hardware, and the Windows OS.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to user support.
- A high degree of initiative and a willingness to handle any task.
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment and workstations weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Foundational exposure to Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or Entra ID.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems like Atlassian Jira.
