About the role#
As an Equity Trader Intern, you will spend the summer learning about the markets and our proprietary technology. You will work closely with a dedicated mentor to research and enhance existing trade strategies. You will develop an understanding of US, Canadian, and OTC equity markets, as well as the US options market. Throughout the program, you will practice decision-making by placing simulated buy and sell orders using our keyboard-based trading platform. This six-week internship runs from June to July 2027.
What you'll do#
- Research market microstructure patterns to identify inefficiencies.
- Collaborate on daily trade reviews.
- Follow industry and overall market news.
- Work closely with a dedicated mentor.
- Participate in group meetings hosted by senior traders.
- Attend educational seminars to learn our proprietary trading tools.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or master's student in your final year (rising senior, Spring 2028 graduation).
- Cumulative 3.5+ GPA.
- Major in Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Resourceful thought process and an analytical mindset.
- Team-oriented mindset and intellectual curiosity.
- Entrepreneurial spirit demonstrated through extracurriculars or group projects.
- Strong interest in financial markets.
- Competitive, adaptable, and persevering nature.

- Locations: New York, NY; Chicago, IL; or Miami, FL.
- Modality: On-site.
- Duration: Summer 2027 (six weeks).
- Compensation: $1,000 per week (gross).
