About the role#
This summer internship offers a hands-on introduction to technical sales within the HVAC and building automation industry. You will gain exposure to the full lifecycle of commercial and industrial projects, from initial design to final service delivery. The role provides a pathway to explore a career in sales engineering and potential entry into our Graduate Training Program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with sales account managers and customers on active projects.
- Learn the design, application, and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services.
- Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer site visits to observe the sales process.
- Follow the steps sales engineers take from the start of a job to its completion.
- Act as a daily point-of-contact for customers, helping to manage project solutions.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year before the start of the summer internship.
- A valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months.
- Ability to provide proof of insurance.
- A clean driving record with no major or frequent traffic violations.
- A commitment to continuous learning in technical fields.
