About the role#
This internship focuses on a variety of sales and engineering tasks. You will work from the local sales office, gaining exposure to both inside and outside sales processes. The role offers practical experience in the HVAC and construction sectors. High-performing interns may be considered for full-time employment in sales, field service, or engineering roles after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Handle inside sales tasks including parts orders, accounting, product selections, and designs.
- Support outside sales through market research and cold calling.
- Complete special projects focused on office efficiency, data analysis, or market development.
- Visit job sites to observe field engineering and service tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a mechanical- or construction-oriented curriculum with an expected graduation date of May 2027.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- A genuine desire to help customers.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Tampa, Florida.
- This is an on-site position. No remote or hybrid options are available.
- You must be available to work full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, during Summer 2026.
- This is a paid internship.
