About the role#
The Supply Chain Intern program is an 11-week opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in retail operations. You will work alongside professionals at our Store Support Center to complete projects and support strategic initiatives. This role provides exposure to transportation, logistics, network optimization, and supply chain technology. You will apply your classroom knowledge to real-world challenges and complete a project addressing a specific business need.
What you'll do#
- Support projects aimed at improving supply chain processes, productivity, and overall performance.
- Track how products move from vendors to distribution centers and finally to our stores.
- Analyze data to identify trends and develop insights for business initiatives.
- Assist with network modeling, including the design, capacity, and optimization of the supply chain.
- Work on financial considerations such as landed costs, transportation expenses, and margin improvement.
- Gain exposure to automation solutions and systems that support our operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Analytics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to relocate to the Greater Nashville Area for the duration of the internship.
