About the role#
We are looking for a Production Intern to join our team in Knoxville. This is a paid, temporary position with a maximum of 25 hours per week. You will support our production department by handling administrative tasks, logistics, and on-set assistance.
What you'll do#
- Assist producers with research, scheduling, casting, and location scouting.
- Manage administrative duties including booking crews, conducting talent agency outreach, answering calls and emails, arranging travel, and making photocopies.
- Order equipment and maintain production supplies.
- Help producers and project managers with logistics for studio and location shoots.
- Act as a Production Assistant during shoots, which may include supporting the art department, assisting talent and crew, and helping with setup and cleanup.
- Create documents, files, budgets, scripts, and research materials.
- Take notes during creative and pre-production meetings.
- Provide daily support to production leads and complete special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a Senior in a Bachelor’s program or a recent graduate with a major in Media, Marketing, Advertising, or a similar field.
- At least 1 year of experience studying or working with video, photography, or editing.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and various social media platforms.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- A positive, collaborative, and entrepreneurial attitude.
- A valid driver’s license and a reliable car.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Knoxville, Tennessee.
- The internship is paid at $18 per hour.
- The schedule is for 25 hours per week.
