About the role#
We are looking for an Art Director Intern to join our team in Knoxville. This is a paid, part-time position for the Fall 2026 term. You will work a maximum of 25 hours per week over an 8.5 week period, starting September 23, 2026, and ending November 20, 2026.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the conceptual and visual development of various agency projects.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director, Art Directors, Copywriters, and Designers to execute design direction.
- Create and edit digital assets for internal presentations and client deliverables.
- Research current trends and assist in the creation of moodboards, sketches, and presentation decks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Senior in a Bachelor’s program or recent graduation in Media Studies, Marketing, Graphic Design, Art, or a related field.
- An engaging portfolio that demonstrates strong design skills.
- Proficiency in Mac OSX, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

- This role is based on-site in Knoxville, Tennessee.
- The position is paid at $18 per hour.
