About the role#
We are looking for a Copywriter Intern to join our creative team. This is a paid, 8.5-week internship based in Knoxville. You will work up to 25 hours per week from September 23, 2026, to November 20, 2026.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Creative Director, Art Directors, and other copywriters to execute copy.
- Contribute to the conceptual and written development of various projects.
- Write copy for both client deliverables and internal presentations.
- Research current trends and help develop concepts for how brands can participate.
- Handle other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A portfolio that shows your copywriting ability.
- Current enrollment as a Senior in a Bachelor’s program or recent graduation in Media, Marketing, Advertising, Portfolio School, or a similar field.
- Prior work or life experience in a relevant area.
- Proficiency in Google Workplace.
- Excellent visual and verbal communication skills.
- A working knowledge of Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, Reddit, and other emerging social media platforms.
- Ability to proofread for accuracy and maintain style consistency.
- Interest in social media and popular culture trends.
- Ability to work as a team player.

- This role is located on-site in Knoxville, Tennessee.
- The position is paid at $18 per hour.
