About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the financial services industry. You will shadow financial advisors, support community events, and participate in training programs. The role prepares you for a career as a financial advisor through case analysis, exposure to industry software, and real-world training.
What you'll do#
- Complete an orientation and training program.
- Shadow financial advisors during client meetings, workshops, and daily tasks.
- Prepare financial plans and analyses.
- Use financial planning software like MoneyGuidePro and Morningstar.
- Attend team meetings to discuss activity updates and industry trends.
- Observe regional seminars and join virtual sessions with corporate staff.
- Work with the Engagement Team to integrate generosity programs.
- Research and present a project in collaboration with other interns.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a college junior or senior pursuing a degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field.
- Technical aptitude and experience with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear oral and written communication.
