About the role#
This is a 12-week summer internship based in our Minneapolis Investments office. You will work alongside portfolio managers, traders, and senior research analysts to gain hands-on experience in the investment research process. This role is part of our entry-level talent program and is designed to provide you with meaningful work experience in a financial services environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist senior analysts with company and industry research.
- Collect and organize financial statements, SEC filings, earnings reports, and key performance indicators.
- Build, update, and maintain financial models and valuation tools.
- Prepare draft reports, presentations, and summaries.
- Participate in meetings, earnings calls, and conferences to capture information and update research files.
What you'll need#
- Demonstrated coursework in asset management or securities analysis, or at least one summer of relevant investment professional experience.
- High academic achievement in a bachelor’s degree program, with a preference for Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Data Science.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong Excel skills.
