About the role#
This internship provides graduate students with direct experience in public investment grade and high yield research. You will work alongside portfolio managers, research directors, and senior analysts to gain a deeper understanding of the investment processes at a large financial services organization. This is a full-time position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the research and underwriting of bond investments.
- Monitor the credit risk and performance of existing holdings.
- Conduct independent research on industries and sectors within the fixed income market.
- Contribute to all aspects of the investment process, including meetings with issuers and management.
What you'll need#
- Completion of the first year of a graduate program with a strong academic record.
- Knowledge of accounting, finance, corporate strategy, real estate, and financial statistics.
- Strong skills in communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and mathematics.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently and take direction from various leaders.
- Experience with investment tools like Aladdin or Bloomberg is a plus.
